A sincere appreciation must be extended to our judges Antanas Sileika and Olivia Chow who took time from their busy schedules to participate in selecting the successful entrants.

I would like to thank all the contestants for sending their entries. Your work is important to us and is a testament to the work that you and your teachers and instructors do to achieve your goals. We will be exhibiting as many of the other posters received as possible in the City Hall Rotunda during conference time. City Hall is just across the street from the Sheraton Hotel and the posters will be available for public viewing throughout the three conference days. All conference registrants are also invited to attend the President’s Reception on Thursday night which will be held in the City Hall Rotunda. Be sure to check out further details on this website in the fall!

Enjoy!
Sheila Carson
President

Poster contest

It was not an easy feat to come up with a winner and three runners-up out of all the wonderful images we have received, and we wish to thank our judges for a difficult job well done.  Our thanks go to all of the participants in this poster contest and we will display as many posters as possible in the City Hall Rotunda display area during the three days of the TESL Ontario Conference, November 13, 14, and 15, 2008.

Many thanks go to our photographer, Kim Flowers.
