About the Presenter

Dr. Miria Muñoz teaches at Algonquin College and La Cité College in Ottawa. She has a Doctorate in Education (Educational Practice and Innovation) from the University of South Carolina. She specializes in mentoring TESL teachers-in-training and supporting the transition from language teaching theory to effective classroom practice.

Dr. Juliana Freire teaches at the University of Ottawa. She has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Ottawa and the University of Brasília. She has extensive experience as a teacher, research assistant, and teaching assistant, and her work focuses on curriculum, teacher education, and learning in school contexts.
