Description

If the following questions are relevant to you, then we encourage you to join us for this webinar.

  • What strategies can be used to effectively teach slow learners in mixed-ability classrooms?
  • What approaches are used?
  • How can I adjust the content, the process, and the assessment?
  • Can technology help me?

Students vary greatly in their learning styles, rates of acquisition, prior knowledge, and capacity to evaluate and build on new knowledge. Slow learners will feel ignored and lose enthusiasm if the teacher concentrates on the more advanced students. Conversely, advanced students will become disinterested and start making noise.

Points to be covered include:

  • the significance of the related research on differentiated instructions,
  • barriers to differentiated instruction,
  • strategies to implement differentiated instruction, and
  • the benefits of a flipped classroom.
