As a dedicated member of the Colleges & Universities Committee and Membership Secretary on the TESL Toronto executive, Plamen exemplifies the spirit of service, professionalism, and collaboration that strengthens our organization. His commitment to supporting members and advancing the field is evident in the time, care, and expertise he brings to every role he undertakes.

In addition to his volunteer leadership, Plamen is a valued presenter and an accomplished educator, currently serving as a professor in the School of English as a Second Language and Immigrant Education at George Brown College. He maintains an active research agenda and regularly contributes to national and international TESL conferences and webinars as both a presenter and guest speaker. His work not only elevates professional practice but also inspires colleagues across the sector.
