As an in-class learner: How does feeling welcomed impact your participation? How does peer engagement impact your participation? How does age change your participation?
Classroom accommodations for older adults looks at suggestions and best practices instructors can try in the classroom to support their older adult learners. These suggestions are based on in-class experience from Immigrant Services of Nova Scotia (ISANS) 55+ literacy class, along with best practices from settlement providers and community organizations.

She works at Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia in Language Services as a literacy team lead, PBLA lead, and instructor. At ISANS, she uses her knowledge and experience to support vulnerable clients, including older adult learners.
