Digital Duct Tape for Language Instructors

John Allan, OCELT
October 22, 2025
7:00 – 8:00 pm EDT

What is digital duct tape? What are simple ways that I level up my online teaching materials? Are these digital tools free?

Join me, John Allan, to bind language teachers to low-cost or free, quick and adaptable tech tools. In addition, we will MacGyver some GenAI production tricks that may solve some of your everyday teaching challenges, enhance learner engagement, and efficiency. Advanced digital technical skills are not required for these techniques and neither is real duct tape.

From this webinar, participants will:

  • be able to share free or low-cost online technical tools that can be used for educational purposes with their peers,
  • create new and original learning opportunities for their instructional purposes, and
  • repurpose existing media via GenAI to a myriad of learning object possibilities.
