Mercedes Veselka (she/her) is a graduate student at York University. While she is currently in school full-time, she is also an English language instructor who has primarily worked in community-based LINC programs. Her current research interests include arts-based curriculum development for adult literacy and language learners and how best to support the needs of educators, both in theory and practice.
